Experience Krista (she/her) has many years experience working with children (6+), adolescents, adults, parents and families. Before completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology and becoming a therapist, she was a youth worker and pharmacy technician.

Krista has a true passion for helping others and takes pride in providing solid assessments and efficient, evidence & relationship-based treatment.

Krista’s clients have said that she is compassionate, non-judgemental , relatable, and inclusive. She has a wide range of experience in mental health and specializes in helping clients with depression and low mood; bipolar disorder; trauma & PTSD; anxiety (worries, phobias, panic, somatic/ somatization concerns); eating disorders (ARFID/picky eating, Binge Eating/ BED, Bulimia, Anorexia etc); & emotional dysregulation, including emotional over-control/rigidity, self-injurious behaviours, and suicidal ideation. Krista has experience working with children and adults with neurodiversity including autism spectrum, ADHD & giftedness & learning disabilities. She also has helped folks with substance use problems.

Training She is formally trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), EMDR (Eye- Movement Desensitization Reprogramming), RO-DBT (Radically-Open Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), EFFT (Emotion Focussed Family Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, as well as others. Krista has training in Responsive Feeding Therapy and is training to be a certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, She has training and experience providing clinical supervision & consultation to other therapists. Krista is registered with Autism Funding and CVAP. Please inquire for consultation rates if interested.

She is working hard to understand the depths of privilege, internalized racism and discrimination, and stands in support of the LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC communities. Krista has volunteered doing outreach supporting the residents of the Downtown Eastside, and champions harm reduction, education & safe supply approaches.

Corrina Masson, MSW, RSW Therapist

Experience: Corrina has worked with individuals experiencing a range of mental health struggles including anxiety, depression and emotional dysregulation. Additionally, supporting clients in navigating relationship challenges and life transitions. Corrina has experience both in the individual and group setting with youth and adults. Corrina is passionate about creating a nonjudgmental, empathic, and collaborative therapeutic environment. She also believes in integrating a mindfulness and strength-based approaches with clients to create a space of self-compassion.

Training: Corrina is a registered social worker in good standing with the BC College of Social Work. She has been practicing since 2016 and has both her Masters and Bachelor’s degree in social work from McGill University. Corrina integrates a strength-based, client centered approach and frequently draws from various therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Based Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Hannah offers clinical counselling to children, youth, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, identity issues, and relationship issues. Andrew has been practicing psychotherapy and counselling for more than 18 years. He has performed as a clinical supervisor for several mental health and substance use programs in Vancouver. He treats adolescents, youth, and adult clients who experience severe, moderate, and mild mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, psychosis, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, disordered eating, emotional and behavioural dysregulation, and borderline personality. He also provides services to clients who struggle with low self-esteem, stress, and challenges regarding work, life, and interpersonal issues.

Andrew supports the family members of clients to address their own mental health concerns and needs. He is a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) therapist, skills trainer, supervisor, and consultant. Andrew has provided numerous DBT training workshops to help professionals learn and apply DBT, and he has developed and led standard and adapted DBT treatment teams in the public system.

Training: Andrew has received various DBT trainings since 2009. In 2017, he completed a DBT mentor training that was designed to create a team of advanced DBT supervisors and consultant who would provide ongoing DBT mentorship within the public system.

In addition to DBT, Andrew uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, DBT-Prolonged Exposure Protocol (DBT-PE), metacognitive approach, mindfulness-based approach, and Client-Directed Outcome-Informed Therapy (CDOI) to treat and support clients and their family members.

Ally Choo, BSc, RD is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Ally received her undergraduate degree with honours from the University of British Columbia and completed her dietetic internship with Providence Health Care.

By combining the psychology of eating and behavior change with the most up to date evidence-based nutrition information, Ally individualizes her nutrition recommendations to fit her client’s unique (and often busy!) lifestyles.

Ally prides herself in being a weight neutral practitioner and practices from a gender and trans inclusive lens.
